IN Venice was conceived to restore a dedicated, measured and shared time, as an alternative to traditional exhibition formats where everything happens rapidly and the project tends to fragment.

In Venice, architecture, art and a culture of making intertwine within authentic places already inhabited by Fantin collections, transforming the experience into a true promenade architecturale.

Three consecutive days, organized in small invitation-only groups, to build relationships, dialogue and project.

CASA DELLA SENSA
Cannaregio

Casa della Sensa is a private residence overlooking the canal of the same name, recently restored: a space where historical stratification engages with a contemporary project attentive to light, materials and visual coherence.

The experience begins in Cannaregio, where Venice retains its everyday dimension.

Here, hospitality becomes a domestic practice. Fantin’s presence is discreet yet structuring: the furnishings define a coherent framework that gives rhythm to the spaces.

In the hidden garden, the Frame Kitchen Outdoor is presented, an outdoor evolution of the workstation kitchen designed by Salvatore Indriolo: a system that extends living into the open air, transforming space into a place of encounter.

PALAZZINA MASIERI
Canal Grande

The route continues along the Grand Canal to Palazzina Masieri, a pre-19th century building transformed in the 20th century through a project by Carlo Scarpa.

Reopened in 2024, it hosts a site-specific Fantin installation that engages with the architecture: tables and shelving already present in the space establish a material and chromatic continuity.

Here, the evolution of the Frame Kitchen is presented, together with new configurations of the Frame, Hug and Wave collections.

The intervention is not an exhibition, but a relationship with the space: Fantin does not display objects, but activates design trajectories.

UNIVERSITÀ IUAV DI VENEZIA, ARCHIVIO PROGETTI
Santa Marta

The route continues at the Archivio Progetti of Iuav University of Venice, a research center dedicated to design culture between the 20th and 21st centuries.

Here, Fantin’s Uno shelving system, installed over twenty years ago, continues to perform its function: not a scenographic presence, but an operational infrastructure of memory.

Their permanence over time becomes a statement on the durability of industrial design.

Within the archive, a workshop is held dedicated to reading materials: drawings and documents become active tools of knowledge, activating a concrete dialogue between memory and contemporaneity.

BERENGO STUDIO
Murano

The route concludes in Murano at Berengo Studio, where the tradition of glass engages with international contemporary art.

Here, the Uno system runs through showroom, shop and furnace, taking on the role of a silent infrastructure.

Glass, in the moment of transformation, makes visible the tension between control and unpredictability. In this context, the rigor of Fantin’s metal engages with the fluidity of matter through a shared process-driven affinity.

Fantin’s presence is not decorative, but structural: it demonstrates how industrial design can engage with art as a system.

IN Venice acts as a device that moves across different contexts, engaging with their complexity.

From the domestic scale to Scarpa’s modernity, from archive to furnace, the project does not occupy space: it measures it.

As stated by Salvatore Indriolo, Art Director of Fantin:

Industry is not neutral. Every construction system organizes space and, in doing so, takes a position. In a city shaped by layers, IN Venice reaffirms an idea: design is time, responsibility and relationship.

Fantin does not simply present collections, but tests them in real places, verifying their ability to inhabit different contexts while maintaining identity and coherence.
